Become a Part of our Prayer Team!
At Retreat Home, we believe in the power of community - not just in action, but in intention. Over the years, we've seen firsthand how healing begins not only with shelter or services, but with a deep sense of belonging, care, and hope. As we continue to walk alongside those experiencing homelessness, we’re entering a new chapter - one rooted in monthly prayer and reflection.
As we continue to seek God’s guidance in serving our community, we are transitioning away from monthly prayer meetings held in three different locations (Tacoma, Puyallup, and Centralia), known as Christians Concerned with Homelessness. Beginning this fall, Retreat Home will be assembling and offering a monthly prayer team dedicated to lifting up the needs of those we serve, the needs of the unhoused in all our cities, the staff of Retreat Home and volunteers who walk alongside them, and our broader network of ministry partners - including you!
If you or members of your community feel called to join us in this new rhythm of prayer, we would be honored to welcome you. Whether you’re local or at a distance, there will be space for you. Fill out the Prayer Community Sign-Up. form and indicate if you would like to receive our monthly prayer letter, join us on Zoom once a month, or both! We are grateful for your faithful commitment to walking with those who are unhoused and vulnerable in our communities. At Retreat Home, we continue to be inspired by the shared work of mercy and justice we engage in together.
